MONITORING IN CLEANROOM

MONITORING IN CLEANROOM

A simple protocol for the monitoring the production phases in Cleanroom applying the “AT REST” and “IN OPERATION” method as requested by the Inspector of the Regulatory Authorities.

The standards applied in Cleanroom request that the contamination monitoring is performed during the normal working day activity of each shift. Air samples should be collected “at rest”, “in operation”. This means that the operators, using a single head active air sampler, should be involved several times in the air sampler preparation and culture plate transfer.

The time and the risk of the contamination can be reduced with the use of a 2 aspirating head sampler like AIRBIO DUO.

The sampler can in fact be programmed and prepared before to start the daily activity and the culture plates collected at the end of the shift.

“Shift working time” is different from company to company, from time to time. In this document we report examples using AIRBIO DUO to demonstrate the flexibility. The starting time can also be considered using the delay function.
